Frederick B. Robida, 65, died October 23, 2009 at home in Stuart, Florida.  He was born in Portland CT in 1944. He lived in Norwood, MA and retired to Stuart, FL in 2008.  Before retirement he was President and Co Owner of REDRUM FABRICS, INC. of Norwood,MA. He was an Air Force Veteran.  

He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Bernice Robida of Stuart, Fl.; daughters, Robin Chabot and Roxanne Galindo of Franklin, MA.; Step-children, Shawn MacDowell of W. Bloomfield, NY, Dawn MacDowell of Stuart, FL, Amy MacDowell of Jupiter, FL and 8 grandchildren.  He is also survived by sisters, Mrs. Lorraine Carson of Dallas, TX, Mrs. Doris Gyllenhammer of Old Saybrook, CT, Mrs. Pauline Pelkey of Hartford, CT, and brother Raymond Robida of Hartford, CT.
